Original tasting notes: This wine has aromas of red and blue berries, blackcurrants and chocolate with spicy and dusty overtones from the oak. The fruit carries through to a palate that is lush and textural with fantastic length and abundant fine grained tannins. The French oak contributes some spicy and nutty notes and helps to define the concentrated fruit flavours. This is our best Cabernet to date and will cellar for 10+ years.
Update: Still very fresh for a 10 year old Cabernet, with vibrant fruit and a smooth, rounded palate.
