Original tasting notes: A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, with aromas of plums and berries followed by cassis and subtle bay leaf. The palate is rich and juicy with generous fruit flavours complemented by subtle oak lending a nutty and spicy support, and fine grained tannins to finish the wine. The blend is a barrel selection to deliver a medium to full bodied red wine with bright aromatics, good palate weight and texture, but still with a softness and approachability.
Museum tasting notes: Aging superbly, it’s retained its bright red colour and vibrancy. Fresh nose and violet pastille fruits with a unique Margaret River personality. Smooth and supple, it has a nicely developed dark fruit intensity.
