The wine is soft and elegant with typical dark Stormflower characters. Ageing pre-release has allowed the highly scented aromas of red fruits, earthy truffle notes and subtle oak to have full expression. The palate structure is balanced, slightly fleshy and complemented by smooth soft oak, ripe tannins and beautiful fruit. This is a classic Wilyabrup Cabernet from another outstanding season in Margaret River. Drink now and over the next 10+ years.

2019 Vintage: Ray Jordan WA Wine Review 2024 - 94 Points "This deceptively good vintage produced wines of elegance and style and this is a good example of what came from it. The leafy minerally notes of cabernet are well to the fore. Bright red fruit emerges from an engaging bouquet that sets it up nicely. There's a slightly meaty blackcurrant influence which speaks cabernet. Perfectly balanced with everything coming together as it should."
