Our Charity Partner: Line in the Sand

Since 2022, Stormflower has proudly supported Line in the Sand (LITS), a local charity funding vital environmental projects across the Margaret River–Busselton region. You can visit their website to learn more about their important work.

All proceeds from our2022 Line in the Sand Rosé were donated to LITS to fund a feral animal management program in the coastal hamlet of Gracetown. A 2022 survey, jointly funded by the Gracetown Cowaramup Bay Community Group Inc. and LITS, identified feral cats and foxes as a major threat to native wildlife. The survey documented a wide range of native animals, including 6 conservation listed species (Baudin's cockatoo, forest red tailed black cockatoo, brush bronzewing, quenda, wambenger brush-tailed phascogale and western ringtail possum), alongside a high density of feral animals, particularly cats and foxes. Our donation helped launch a multi-year camera survey and that will provide valuable data on native and feral animals in the area to inform management strategies critical to protecting vulnerable species.

To further support LITS and its future projects, Stormflower is donating to LITS all tasting fees collected at our cellar door.
